Autumn hasn't come to deliver its cool gust yet, but there's still some more sun before it sets early. Today is all about our sunny, hot, bacon haired Unicorn Equestria Girl. Sunset Shimmer has always been one of my most favorite characters in My Little Pony ever. Beautiful, hot, intelligent, compassionate, empathetic, and a true friend, she does all she can to help spread the Magic of Friendship in the Equestria Girls World, and keep people from making the wrong choices.

But we all know that she wasn't always like that. Once Princess Celestia's student, she became prideful and desired for power. Soon, she discovered the mirror portal leading to the EqG world, where she became a human girl. There she planned to steal Twilight Sparkle's element of harmony and use it to gain more power than ever before. While waiting, she ruled Canterlot High with an iron fist, making everybody's lives miserable. Fortunately, when Twilight followed Sunset into that world, she restored harmony and friendship in the school. During the Fall Formal, Sunset finally obtained her element. However, by using magic in another world, it consumed her being, twisting her, rendering her helpless to resist both its corruptive influence and the darkness within her. She then transformed into a power-hungry demoness, any good that was in her had been snuffed out, just as Princess Luna's good waned after she became Nightmare Moon. The evil that was spawned from Sunset and possessed her through Equestrian magic was soon defeated by Twilight and her new friends. Free of both the Element of Harmony and her own darkness, Sunset saw the error of her ways, and since then, she started becoming a better person and a true friend. She helped defeat the Dazzlings; showing sympathy and offering friendship to Twilight's human counterpart; saved Camp Everfree; solved a case of stolen movie props; brought Starlight Glimmer to the EqGirl World to save their friends; restore her friends' memories; stopped Vignette Valencia; quelled the Storm King's magic storm, and break a time loop started by Kiwi Lollipop and Supernova Zap. She has come a long way to where she is now. Nod

It is sad and unfair that Equestria Girls came to an abrupt end, so we never found out what became of Sunset Shimmer. However, according to a leak script, when she came to visit Twilight Sparkle after she became princess, Sunset told her that she is now the Principal of Canterlot High and that she was originally struggling with the workload until she organized a student council, and the students were helping her run the school. This was going to be what gave Princess Twilight the idea to form her own Friendship Council. What a befitting role for Sunny. If it ever happened I would be so proud of her. She wouldn't become a princess, but at least she would inspire new friends and help spread the magic of friendship throughout her new home. Huggle! Heart

Right next to Twilight (pony Twilight actually), Sunset Shimmer, or Sunny, is my most favorite pony and Equestria Girl of the Mane 7 (or 8). Like the former, she is intelligent, friendly, talented, kind-hearted, humble, graceful, helpful, caring, brave, selfless, and famously, forgiving. If she ever had an element of harmony it would have been the Element of Forgiveness (however, Equestria Daily believes it's more like understanding). And of course, she is very, very beautiful. Maybe the most beautiful pony and Equestria Girl ever! Everything about her is: her hair, her eyes, her clothes (and her swimsuit), her expressions, and her voice. Heart And I confess, I fell in love with her. I remember when I saw her human face in Equestria Girls, I was immediately smitten with her. I heard the phrase, 'you're so cute when you're mad,' but dang, she's actually pretty with that glare. Heart Heart Heart After she reformed, I definitely fell in love with her, especially with her new personality. She was still beautiful in Rainbow Rocks, and with every new attire she wears, she is amazing. And in her swimsuit, she is just so unimaginably hot. Horny! Even as Daydream Shimmer, she was without a doubt the most beautiful sight I ever saw in the show. She's more like a daydream come true. Love Love Love At some point, I role-played with her. I will never forget those special, romantic moments. Heart Also, I came up with a fanfic chapter somewhere in 2015 concerning my relationship with Sunset. However, my feelings started to sway as I started falling in love with Twilight, but I guess I'm still holding a torch for Sunny. If we are meant to be friends then alright, at least we can be best friends. I'd wish to be there for her, and reassure that I will always be her friend, and no matter what happens I'll always forgive her. I will always love Sunset Shimmer, no matter what. And I will never forget her.

When making this pic, it was totally obvious that I was struggling with an idea since Sunset Shimmer never got to appear in her future form. At first, I thought I wasn't going to make this. But then I decided to take the risk, and make it anyway. I'm not very good with being original, so I got some inspiration from two MLP artists who had some great headcanon ideas: EmeraldBlast63 and Orin331. It wasn't easy, quick, or perfect, but it was the best that seemed to fit.
