My entry for MLPChan's contest, where you had to draw a scene from Season 3 of MLP FiM
I decided to draw a scene from my favourite episode The Crystal Empire 1&2.

For this I decided to do things a bit differently than usual: I used a tall format, instead of wide or square; and I made an actual background. And I had no choice, as soon as I decided I wanted to do this scene the picture just popped into my head like this, I knew I wanted it in this format, I knew I wanted Cadence in that pose, I knew I wanted that background and I knew I wanted those crystal ponies there.

This is my first time drawing Cadence and crystal ponies, and I liked the result.
