Something about this picture makes me love it so much. Part of it is certainly the fact that I enjoy hiking IRL, so seeing this makes me want to lace up my boots. Another part is definitely the beauty of the landscape (and, going back to point one, how much I'd love to hike it!). The artist clearly put a lot of effort into this, too.

Oh, and the pony doesn't hurt. Sure, she's an OC, but she's a pretty well-designed OC who isn't too different from some of the show ponies (Octavia, for instance). Her subdued colors work well here, and help the bright colors of the bird and her clothing really pop. Great legs, too…

Is it perfect? Nah. But it's pretty darned good.
