I wanted to do a revamp of my CMC designs as they're quite dated now, and i had a lot of ideas for these girls! mainly i just wanted to draw all their hair, I've always loved the CMC's designs and i wanted go have some fun with their manes and tails, such as applebloom's being a bit more curly with lots of volume much like her mother. i had a lot of fun with sweetie belle's hair, i love doing curls, and i added some streaks to scoot's hair just cause i feel like she'd dye it a lot, idk about this color tho but oh well lmao
and i completely changed all their markings from my last CMC line up just to add more character to them, plus i altered their cutie marks a bit. the thing is i do like the idea of their marks representing their individual selves but also representing their a close knit trio, but the colors have always bothered me so i just gave em colors to match their own color schemes
oh and also, super stagnant poses, just cause i feel like that'll make my deisgn refs easier to make, doing poses for refs ends up taking me days to finish and it's not worth it if it's JUST for design reference, so they jus standing there lol
