One last one. This one comes with a bit of a story so bear with me for a second.

Okay, so I’m not a writer, never been affiliated with or in contact with any writers from the show. I have no clue what, if anything, they had planned or discussed for a possible ending to the series– if they ever talk about it, I’ll be in the front row with popcorn. But I did have my own ideas. A lot of them, in fact. Far, far too many for me to ever have a hope of writing down or drawing or manifesting in any reasonable way. Some of them probably aren’t a loss, but there are some that I’m still very invested in, despite time and distance from my time on the series. There’s something in some of these that still burn little holes in my brain, so there’s something in them that probably needs to be said.

For a while I felt determined to try and write or draw them out on my own, if for no other reason than to get them out of my head. But realistically speaking, there just didn’t seem to be a way for me to make that happen, especially once I started having problems with my drawing arm.

As it turns out, having fallen into easy conversation with @marvelandponder​ recently, a lot of the ideas each of us has are either so similar or compatible enough to be adapted, that it just seemed like a no-brainer to collaborate. Her ideas are blowing me away and about 100 times better than anything I came up with on my own, so this is about the best thing that could have happened anyway.

The stories are hers. The words are hers. Most of the ideas, and 100% of the execution of them are hers. My contributions are much, much smaller, but the little bits of me in there are the kernels of the things that meant the most out of everything I came up with. And while I never had a say in what would or might happen in the series officially, if anyone’s wondering what my take on it would have been, this fic series has my endorsement for a direction I would have liked to have seen.

So yeah. Instead of the plans I had for so long, I’m way more excited to be announcing this instead.
