Beaches and Drinks

Heya!

I had a sketch of anthro Rainbow Dash and Spitfire sitting in my folders and I wanted to finally finish it because I truly liked what it looked like Therefore, it was about time to turn this into a full illustration because I adore these two mares together hehe.

What originally was planned to be a very simple drawing with only simple shading, no real highlights and no special background turned out to be a project that was very time consuming on my days off and whenever I had the chance. Nontheless, I think putting that much work and time in really was worth it because I'm more than happy with the outcome! I absolutely love Spitfire's expression and overall body and anatomy here! I like how they look at each other and how the whole illustration radiates warmth and happiness! It kind of gives off nice summer evening vibes. It wasn't even planned to be at a Beach and sunset setting but these happy little accidents truly make the process enjoyable and the outcome unique I hope, you can aggree with me!

In the end, I'm glad I didn't just simply "finish" my original idea with it but truly paid attention to detail and put in some love, time and care into this drawing. I'm more than happy with how it turned out. But what do you think? Let me know in the comments!
