:COMM: Talk in the Park

Hello everyone!

This is a commission that waited to be finished for JDeck! He won a sketch on my streams a while ago and asked me to sketch his characters Data and Light sitting on a bench while having a cheerful chat together. Now after some time, I was asked to complete this illustration and figured putting them in a lovely park on a warm spring/summer day would fit this scene perfectly.


I tried making the background look nice, comfy and relatively natural (obviously not photo-realistic however) and experimented with brushes and textures to acheive that result. I'm honestly quite surprised I managed to create a background like this in a relatively short amount of time, I'm quite sufficed with it. Additionally, we decided to add JDeck's partner's characters in the background as they are about to meet their partners, who are currently sitting and talking on the bench. What a lovely and wholesome image, emmitting positivity. What do you think? I'd love to hear your honest thoughts and feedback on this artwork^^
