Anyone else find it amusing that AJ and Rarity conflict in-show, while their fans ship their plots harder than FedEx,

Meanwhile, Dash and Rarity have hardly ever conflicted in-show, yet Dash fans not liking Rarity, and Rarity fans not liking Dash is as common in this fandom as corn in Nebraska?

Dash is the die-hard tomboy, while Rarity is the girly girl fashionista. It makes sense that their fans are likely to not like the other's pony, because they are probably one of the most 'core opposite' examples of the Mane Six, meaning a fan of Rarity's girl girl personality is expected to be put off by Dash's brash, tomboy attitude, and vice versa. But then again, Rarity and AJ are also opposites in this way, as AJ is also like Dash. Yet one pair of characters gets shipped, one gets internet drama. Go figure.
