Something I just noticed on rewatch: notice how the equals mark glows as Pinkie starts to celebrate. I'm guessing that these will work as inhibitors to stop them from expressing themselves too much.
(Unfortunately its hard to tell if the same effect is there for RD in the previous S5 teaser)
