All Alp-Luachra enjoy wet, humid environments. The moist air keeps their skin nice, and is often filled with insects and other things to feast upon. One of these areas is Froggy Bottom Bog, which hosts a colony of rare Alps who possess much more magic than regular ones. Some are rumoured to be able to harness it in strange ways, such as controlling flowers, and concocting potions within their own bodies. For the most part, the Alps of the swamp have it just as hard as those in the more controlled areas of Equestria, but they have also developed far more ways of defending themselves.
