This is how the episode went, right?
The title of Fluttershy's book reads 'How to set Your Hopeless Friends up on a Date'.
I can't believe this was a real episode that happened. I've been trying to wrack my brains for a reason why the Flim Flam brothers might possibly be in a position to own a Flim-Flam Inc. in the Quinnaverse and have the resources/motivation to do the whole 'passively ruin AJ's life' thing by doing stuff like slightly altering her public image in a really badly researched movie so she's suddenly mobbed by ponies who think she's like her movie counterpart/sending AJ the Pink Truck with a Twilight Sparkle cut-out in the back (clearly merchandise from Friendship is Action) at the precise moment that the hype around her is starting to wane, etc etc, and the show just handed things to me on a plate.
Clearly, none of these gifts are malicious, dear Applejack, we are merely trying to do our best to repay you for your role in helping us to get a hoof in the Las Pegasus big leagues.
How come you ain't done the same fer Fluttershy, then?
The character inspired by Fluttershy isn't nearly as important as yours, Applejack. It's only right that we should promote one of the main characters, no? A few extra tickets-
Fifty. Fifty tickets.
-to see our movie is nothing. And we thought that of all the ponies who deserved such an iconic set piece as the pink truck, you were the most deserving.
Okay, but what's with the cardboard Twilight ya put in it? Ya know what kind of uproar that caused in the mob?
Just a little nod to our fans, Applejack. We can't help that they get a little… overzealous sometimes. On that note, how do you feel about giving us a little statement about how you think Happyjack's development is going to progress over the next few movies?
Y'all're gonna… make a sequel? Landsakes, ain'tcha done enough damage as it is?
We have plans for at least seven more installments. How do you feel about the possibility of a crossover with the Selachimorphado franchise?
I think that if ya keep talkin', ya ain't gonna like where my pitchfork'll end up.
