What if Sunny was once a party-girl? Story: Sunny Flare actually knew how to have fun at one point. She was your typical "always wanting to party" type of person. This resulted in her being out of control, and performing poorly in middle school. When her parents weren't proud of her grades and her attitude, Sunny's mother (in my head-canon) Abacus Cinch decided enough was enough and that having her experience Crystal Prep Academy would change her daughter for the better. Like most students at Crystal Prep, Sunny was brainwashed into becoming a more civil and more disciplined child. The Sunny Most off her peers saw, was not the same Sunny Flare they knew and loved. Instead, this Sunny was more serious, aggressive, mean. smarter, and horrifying. However, Sunny's party-girl side happens to show up every once and a while, asking her to remember the good times. All Sunny can do is sigh and say "That's not me anymore". "That Sunny Flare is gone forever". This ends up leading the Shadowbolt into a gaping depression, leaving only her new talent and hobby of building advanced technology and computer science to subdue her sadness. She and her peers, Sour, Sugarcoat, Indigo, and Lemon, have underwent some horrifying changes since they became crystal prep students, such as Sunny's anger, Sour's Bipolar disorder, Sugarcoats brutally honest nature, and Lemon and Indigo's arrogance. Many students are stripped away from their true personalities due to Crystal Prep's harsh staff, almost boot-camp like PE, strict project dates, brainwashing and many more horrifying events, resulting in the students of crystal prep being more snobbish and mean.
