This is ChattaChoo the locomotive pony as you can see. Finally a train pony that doesn’t look like a pony face slapped on a train.
This is an OC for a large upcoming project of mine.
I’m kinda happy with the result here.
Well, here’s her backstory:

Chattachoo used to be a normal pony just like any other pony. Her real name is Sugar Plum (not associated with any existing OCs), according to her relatives. She used to be an administration secretary in Select Co. (just a made up name). She would have lived a normal life if it wasn’t for that one fateful day that changed her, physically and emotionally forever.

The local newspaper reported a horrible accident that day. There was an explosion in a city building, the cause was suspected to be a leak in one of the building’s gas pipe down in the basement. A worker was smoking without knowing what would happened next. The whole basement and first floor blew up, Sugar was standing behind the administration desk during the incident. Bad things came, 90% of her body got burned, bones broken due to falling debris, the shockwave also damaged most of her functional organs. After being rescued, she was utterly unrecognizable if not for the half-burnt ID card and is considered dead by many. That’s when Dr. Elysia dropped by (another implemented OC in my project), Dr. Elysia always wanted volunteers for her experiments but no one showed up. She figured out what to do with a corpse, so she brought Sugar, or in this case a burnt deformed corpse, back to her lab.

And so the transformation began. After 2 years, Sugar’s body is completely different from the original. The old body was completely useless, there was only part of her that is usable, the brain. Her skin is made of ultra-forged titanium, durasteel for her bones and spines, carbon fiber, polyester and aluminum frame form the nozzle, mouth and joints for easy movement. Most of her torso is empty to make room for the burner. The burner, just like that of a steam locomotive, is her heart and what keeps her running. The burner uses coal or charcoal to heat the boiler, which contains water, to produce high pressure steam. The steam produced then spins the turbines placed in each of her limbs and her neck. Generators are attached to the turbines by a rotating shaft. As the steam turbines spin, the generators spin and create electricity. Four generators placed in her limbs are used to create energy for the ‘IF-IN Generator Mk III’s. As those generators will create force for her movements and powers, thanks to them, she can generate a power that is equal to 500 stallions (500 hp) thus given her the nickname ‘Locomotive Pony’. However, Dr. Elysia stated that she’s actually not her best and needed further testing. The one generator placed in her neck is used to power her life support, it acts as her lungs and is an important part of her heart by pumping oxygen and blood consistently to her brain, which is extremely well protected in case of exposure. Last but not least, a black with yellow stripes conductor hat and goggles for class. She is now literally a living steam engine.

Well, to be honest, the experiment was a success, Dr. Elysia succeeded in ‘resurrecting’ a dead pony, without magic. The experiment was also a failure. Why? The Dr. couldn’t save her memories, a lot of Sugar’s original memoirs has been lost. She can’t remember her own name, her family, her friends, just… her. The Dr. didn’t really care about her background so she just called Sugar a new name, ChattaChoo, which she soon got used to. Although she’s able to keep her original personality.

Being different from most other ponies, it’s clear that she may look cool, but she seems dangerous for a normal pony to play with. Firstly, she now weighs 771.618 pounds (350 kg in total) not from obesity, but due to all the metal in her. Secondly, due to not having a heat separator layer in the front, her chest is really, really hot. When she’s working hard, it is recorded to exceed 900oC (1652oF). Thirdly, she hasn’t got use to her power, for example, if you try to high-five her, there’s a chance of her losing control over her output force and high-five you with the force of a steel I-Beam flying at 105mph (170kph). Those are three main reasons why she doesn’t have many friends besides the Infinitum Crew. She tries to improve herself every day, mainly because she wishes to have more friends.

‘There are more things to research. She hasn’t reached her full potential yet, and I’m waiting for that day to come. Now if only I can remember what to do next.’
-Dr. Elysia, head of the Infinitum Crew

‘I just found out that I like strawberry pie. Mika baked it for me yesterday and it was delicious. I must have liked strawberry stuff back in my previous life, I guess.’
-ChattaChoo
