Genie Applejack: Ah don’t think it’s such a smart idea t’ simply travel back in time. There’s just some things ya’ll don’t mess with. And in case any of ya’ll are thinking of suggesting ah bring them back t’ life with genie magic. That’s not an option either, because not only am ah not sure if that’d even work fo’ very long or go right. Ah like t’ think that wherever they went, their spirits are enjoying eternal togetherness and bringing them back would only rip them from that. And that they’ve been watching over us, so they already know how we’re remembering them As much as ah’d love t’ be able t’ talk t’ them directly if even for a moment. Ah can’t bring myself t’ even try it.

But t’ Genie Twi here had t’ good idea of a portal that shows a flashback in history could serve best of showing our parents without necessarily t’ complications of them seeing us before they gave birth t’ any of us or bringing them back t’ life. That way we see their most precious moments together. Cause they passed not long after Apple Bloom’s birth. And both me and Big Mac were too young to truly know the love they had for each other from them.
