After today's episode, I just HAD to draw this guy! And honestly, I think the story actually works, even with his going through the metamorphosis in the end.

I admit, I was hoping he wouldn't be, or it would just be one giant message for you should give into the group to fit in. But, that isn't the case here. At the very end, it's shown that you don't need to be all lovey-dovey of a changeling to go through the metamorphosis, and all you need is to let love into your heart, and Pharynx is able to do this when the other changelings finally accept him for who he is. And, even though I didn't initally want him to change, I think his new form actually works. He is able to show he's a part of the new changeling society, but his darker color scheme and style work in a way that still complements who he is without making him a completely re-written character, in form or in personality.
