When a chaotic serpent roams through the village soon to be named after the gorgeous mare, Somnambula believes it is best to tame the slithery beast and see what it desires. Prince Hisan resists, not wanting to risk his royal advisor and friend. But the Pegasus was confident and hopeful that she would not be harmed. She approached the snake with ease, wanting to know what it wanted. Rings popped out of its eyes for a second and formed a staircase, and soon a pathway, with the coils. Somnambula read stories of hypnotic serpents and their liking to playing with their entranced prey, so she was willing to be under its spell and walk on its coils, to satisfy the snake as long as it does no harm to the village. Red venomous rings pulsed into the beautiful pony’s eyes as they reflected. Somnambula wouldn’t turn away as they rings were too amazing to look away from and deep down she knew it was for the best to keep the snake at ease. A cute smile curved on her cheeks as she saw the coils create a pathway for her to slowly trot on. The snake hisses, as if commanding her to close her eyes as she’ll be in a soothing slumber. Placed on the coils, the sleeping Somnambula walks gracefully, letting the coils guide her as she now belonged to them. She went up the slithery staircase, and was stopped when the tail pressed on her forehead, keeping her from walking until the coils made a loop. She walked on forward, feeling the coils move like a treadmill and got closer to hold onto her as she walked upside down. The coils loosen as Somnambula slid down, laying peacefully on a scaly hammock, the gentle freeze touching her cute face as the hammock swung slowly back and forth. Somnambula felt a gush of wind hit her as she was bounced up by the coils and was caught by the snake’s tail, the tip of it on the top of her head to balance her. The mare’s headpiece and transparent gown flowed loosely, revealing her exotic blue and turquoise mane and her majestic cutie mark. The snake wanted to coil up the cute mare, but a deal was a deal. The coils then lead to the desert ground of the village, letting Somnambula slide down on them before coming to a gentle halt and then stood up as she was still resting. The snake stroked the beauty’s cheeks before hissing once more, commanding for Somnambula to be free from its spell. The mare flutters her eyes open and yawns, feeling like she had a glorious rest. Prince Hisan ran to her, wanting to make sure she was alright, the mare telling him to stop worrying. They see the snake with a happy expression, showing how pleased it was having Somnambula as a precious entranced pet for a while. It slithers away from the village, looking to venture elsewhere, but not without tickling Somnambula’s chin with its tail. She giggles at the snake’s playfulness and turns to the Prince, with a cocky look on her face since she was right the whole time. Hisan mumbles for a bit, then telling her that he’ll be in the palace to relax as Somnambula stayed in the village to meet her fellow villagers. She thought over of how stress the Prince was and thinks that how he usually relaxes never does the trick. Maybe, if she’s lucky, she might find some hypnosis spell for Pegassi to use on ponies, at least to help ease the troubled Hisan’s mind.

As some of you know, Somnambula’s name comes from the word “somnambulism", which is another term for sleepwalking, and it has been alluded to in Daring Done when she had to wear a blindfold and walk across the bridge to save Prince Hisan. Of course, being the snake guy I am, I decided to make a doodle connecting that with a particular scene in a certain Disney movie (I’ll give you a cookie if you guess right. Guess wrong, a slap on the face.)
