"Immersive Fantasy World" my ass which they only explore it to bare minimum with the map episodes, plot relevant ones and the movie. It felt like a distraction and complementary to the overall series.

Fans complain about EG set in the high school setting but didn't realize it's doing essentially the same thing and whatnot… "friendship and all that"

Crafting ideas and stories for MLP is somewhat unsatisfactory rather than enriches the world and characters. It felt like we're doing the work and feeling the blanks for the writers like Steven Universe. Since the show rather rehashes the same stories from previous seasons either by regressing the characters or using new characters. *Most of the times in recent seasons anyway.
