Artist's description from DA:We've seen bees, and yet we've seen wasps too. These social insects live like bees, led by a queen, build nests, and if you cross them, you get stung! But there are differences. They don't make honey in their hives, just paper-like nests, most are predatory, feeding on larvae, and their stingers are smooth and not barbed; they can sting you as many times as they please. And they're not as cute as bees. As far as everybody knows, wasps are terrible insects to have around, and they deserved to be hated and they don't deserve friendship, right?
WRONG!
I know wasps are not totally known for being forgiving and slow to attack like most bees (though, the Africanized killer bees here in America are the most unforgiving and merciless of them all), they're not fuzzy, they have barbless stings, and most eat caterpillars, grubs and other larvae (and some feed their young to spiders they kill), but they don't deserved to be hated and friendless. As mentioned, wasps eat caterpillars and other larvae, which reduces flower and crop decimations. If you want to grow flowers and/or vegetables, it is best to have wasps around so they can eat those pesky caterpillars that will eat them first. Meanwhile, in Germany, there's a guy who not only likes wasps, but he feeds them and knows how to interact with them. He has a YouTube page featuring videos of him interacting with these supposedly vicious insects. www.youtube.com/user/lpf911
Anyway, I'm not a huge fan of wasps, but I know they deserve some love and friends. I originally planned on making a vector of this, but I was still an amateur at the gradient fill, so I gave up. But after I got better, I finally made it. I hope you guys enjoy this and that it will be very useful to you.
