This is number three of a seven-part series commissioned by someone on Deviant Art, based on the "purse meme" going around awhile ago. All purses and outfits are designed by me, with a lot of help and inspiration from Our Grand High Ruler, Google.

Here we have Twilight Sparkle, and the contents of her purse. Rarity designed her purse and outfit just for fun. I think Rarity would always have wanted to do a book-themed purse, and she finally got her chance!

Oh, and Twilight is holding up a first-edition book she found that she's super-excited about.

Purse contents, left to right, top to bottom:

Wallet- she bought this one for herself a long time ago and still has it.

Aspirin- Headcanon; Twilight suffers from occasional stress-headaches.

Science-themed buttons- Sunset Shimmer saw these and bought them for Twilight because she thought they were hilarious.

Phone- with a well-thought-out schedule, natch.

Various cords and chargers/adaptors and case- never again will she be caught off-guard with a low battery!

Brush- with a few extra hair bands wrapped around the handle.

Chapstick- cherry-flavored

Nail file- Twilight has brittle nails and hangnails drive her crazy because they get in the way.

Notebook- so many theorems, so little time.

Flexible pencil-case- with the bare essentials.

Whatever book she's currently reading

Bookmark- Pinkie gave her that one because she once heard Twilight say "books may be the only form of real magic in the world".

Purse- book-themed, complete with "magic" sigils.
