Obsidian Grindstone is a gem collector that lives in Thornwood valley with Almond Evergrow. Her hobbies are going into the forest of Thornwood and collecting/searching for any rocks that might have a value, loves to listen to classical music and admires the company of close friends.

Known for her Red mane and bright green eyes, she has gained some attention from a few stallions around the town of Thornwood valley, but her search for romance is a difficult task as she is a hopeless romantic, making her indecisive on who she admires as a love interest.

Obsidian came to Thornwood after her journey of finding any other place to live that was densely populated with other individuals and just so happen to stumble upon Thornwood. She then met Almond by a flower shop while he was searching for some roses for the house to decorate the new place that he moved in himself. After a rather interesting conversation between the two, they both decided to live with each other as housemates and form a relationship with each other as close friends.
