“Whoa, nelly! What a day this was.” Applejack grunted as she finally sat her heavy body down. The bench groaned and bent beneath the great weight of her massive rear end. She couldn’t have walked more than a few dozen steps since she arrived, and already she was exhausted. Breathing heavily, she rubbed her bloated belly, causing it to quake with each and every movement.

She looked down at the huge slice of apple pie in her hand, knowing very well that it would have to be her last piece of dessert for a long time. She sadly took a bite, stuffing her fat face the crumbly, cinnamon-flavored sweetness.

“Applejack!?”

The cowgirl’s ears suddenly rang from the sound of Rainbow Dash’s surprised voice. She looked up to see her friend walking towards her, jaw dropped and eyes wide. “Hey, Rainbow,” Applejack breathed sluggishly, “Ya enjoyin’ the festival?”

“Jeez, I heard you been going overboard with this thing. But, wow…”

“Yeah, I know. I may have been enjoyin’ myself a little too much lately,” she said as she shook her huge belly. “But at least I know I could chow down 62 pies in less than 5 minutes,” she said as she took another bite.

“Whoa! So, you actually did beat Rarity’s score!”

“Eeyup, and I coulda won the whole thing if I weren’t disqualified.” Applejack explained as she gestured toward a sign nearby.

“Disqualified?” Rainbow Dash wondered. She turned and walked over to read the sign. Rainbow muttered to herself as she, “Pie-Eating… must be under… UNDER 300 POUNDS?! HA HA HA!” The sign nearly had her dying from her sudden uproarious laughing fit.

“It ain’t funny, Rainbow Dash,” Applejack huffed, “Couldn’t even get a t-shirt for participatin’. None of them would fit me.” She muttered as she looked down at her over-stretched top,

“C’mon. You have to admit, it’s a little funny,” Rainbow said as she choked back her laughs, “Oh, man! If only Rarity was here to see you now!” She chuckled, wiping away her tears of joy. “You really showed her!”

“Yeah, talk about a hollow victory,” Applejack groaned as she shoved the last of the pie into her mouth. “Biggest eater in town, and I’m too outta shape to even celebrate.”

“Well, how about I get you something to eat? Like a burger or two… dozen?” Rainbow snickered.

“No, thanks. If I wind up gettin’ any bigger, y’all are gonna need a crane to move me around. Now, do me a favor, will ya?”

“What?”

“Call Big Mac and tell him to bring his pick-up."
