Seeing that yellow goggle strap layered under his ear in the show and in high resolution was more off-putting than it sounds. This vector began as simply an opportunity to cover Z ordering (a fault in the animation that's a lot more common than it seems) in a ramble-y type of Tumblr post but by the time I was done, his entire body was vectored and retouched to my liking. May as well upload the whole thing, mm? It's not like I've seen very many, if any, vectors of Soarin (or anyone) standing at this angle at all, probably because it's not a very engaging or "useful" instance, or at least that's how I see it.

Oh, and also: new suit colors. When DHX animators updated the Wonderbolts' assets back in Season 6, one of the more-noticeable changes was the darker outline of the suit overall, as well as the shadowed colors, at least aside the general improvements to the stallions so that they were in-line with the newer stallions that they'd been producing or using already. This included changing the stallion's goggle model at various angles to the same one used on mares, but I honestly liked the more three-dimensional look of the original ones and felt they did justice. I'd stubbornly used the old suit colors like I did for the 3+ years prior for the sake of consistency but I figured I'd just apply these new ones, but without updating my old stuff because I'm lazy.
