So I finally finished this one. I had a really hard time getting the lighting effect that I wanted, but overall I'm really happy with how this one turned out. As I've said before, Tempest is my favorite character in the show, and I absolutely love drawing her. The inspiration for this one actually came to me a few weeks ago while I was rolling around in bed at 3 in the morning because I had work at 3:30 and couldn't sleep the whole night. That was a long day. Anyways, the gist of it is that Tempest is sleeping peaceful and sound, and she's happy, unlike me at that time. I wanted to draw the way I wanted to feel, and I couldn't think of a character that I believe deserves happiness as much as Tempest. She's been through a lot. So I say, the least she deserves is a peaceful night's sleep.
