My Hero Academia Deku commission
I'm making a replica of this cause I feel like crafting stuff to sell of stuff that sells, is a smart thing to do
This was a paid request to hand craft the character Deku from anime My Hero Academia, as a custom pony figurine.
Pony base is a generation 4.5. Base coated in white gesso, body paint in dark teal acrylics, head painted in sunkissed peach acrylics. Eyes/face hand painted, all apint work sealed in Artists Varnish.
Mane and tail are rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair in a custom color blend of poison ivy and deep sea. Mane is articulately styled with hair gel method and a curling iron.
Outfit- shoes ad gloves are cut from real thick leather, and hand stitched. Gloves have dark blue acrylic paint detail, shoe laces are hand stitched on the leather. Black ribbon detail throughout the body, black leather detail on all legs, red ribbon belt with delicately hand stitched red pouches stitched from folded bias tape. Painted black rhinestone details on legs.
Bottom half of mask is cut from thick black leather, faux silver vinyl, glued together then detailed with black acrylic paint.

Customer requested he not wear his hood so I crafted it as a accessory dangling from the back of his neck and is only a detail for the sake of completeness. It is hand stitched from green cotton fabric then detail is painted.
