Now let's get started! From left to right we have

Black Dahlia — Daughter of King Sombra and Tempest Shadow
Being young and hotblooded can lead you to do a lot of stupid things. While still working for the Storm King, Tempest Shadow cozied up one evening with King Sombra and wound up pregnant with his foal. Wanting a chance for a better life for her foal, as soon as she gave birth Tempest abandoned the foal outside of an orphanage and never looked back. Black Dahlia spent most of her foalhood in the shelter, bitter and angry and scaring off most ponies interested in adopting her… until Fancy Pants and Fleur de Lis happened upon her and accepted the challenge. Refusing to be groomed into being a socialite like her three adopted sisters, Dahlia took that as her chance to run away from Canterlot, from a reformed pansy of a father and a mother that pretends she wasn't even born.

Flame Burst — Daughter of Sunset Shimmer and Tempest Shadow [Cutiemark here]
After Twilight took Tempest under her wing as her first true friend, even helping her get a prosthetic for her horn to help her better control her magic, Tempest really toned down on her broodiness. Still, her gloom managed to attract the attention of one Sunset Shimmer, another one of Twilights friends that had returned home from "a far off land". Both being reformed villains, they bonded quickly over how Twilight's love and compassion helped them and soon the friends became romantically involved—and so Flame Burst was born! Flame Burst is adept in fire magic which server her well when she followed in her mother's hoofprints when she became a guard. Now retired, Flame Burst helps Princess Twilight as a secretary when Spike is away.

Umbra — Daughter of Sunset Shimmer and Tempest Shadow
Born shortly after her sister, Umbra was always known for being quiet and brooding… except when she wants to be a snooty bitch. She fickle and has a hard time letting go of past aggression, but she is passionate about helioseismology and learning.

Night Shade — Son of Sunset Shimmer and Tempest Shadow
The newest, and last, addition to this family is a bouncing baby boy. He loves his sisters and mothers dearly, and is clearly in good, capable hooves.
