yep, this month's Spitfire/SpitDash drawing deals with an all familliar topic as some kind of sequel to earlier drawings like a story line continuing. We see Spitfire lonely at the bar, definitely not in her best mood and already pretty boozed like in this picture earlier:

Spitfire seems to have had to deal with problems or negative stuff she felt handleling with alcohol in the evening if there is no real better way for her. Suddenly she hears a familliar voice and hoofsteps approaching her from behind — turning around she sees Rainbow Dash to her surprise, who looks kinda worried and confused at the sight. From all the ponies at Wonderbolts Academy, she did not want Rainbow to see her like that in the officer's mess, getting drunk over her sorrows. The Captain feels embarrassed yet she can't change it.

The Rainbow mare is slowly approaching, asking her: "Spitfire..? Ma'am, is that you..? What are you doing here all alone?"
Spitfire however is startled and looks at her, ashamed and weak compared to her usually strong character traits. Possibly not able to properly articulate what's up, she just tells her that she's surprised to see the newcomer here and that shw would have preferred not to see her like that. "Ish nod youur bushinesh hic Rainbouw Daesh…." and frowns… "…Theehre are thingsh to dealwithh in a hic differnd wayy than ussually…" and all these are excuses of her to make Rainbow leaver probably and forget about all this… her crush might have seen her at Spitfire's weakest so far, not something you'd like when you have a crush on someone and want to impress them…



I really hope you like this new piece regarding these two characters even though it's nothing too new for you, I admit, but it's part of a small story/scene I wouldn't be able to put in a complete comic I would like to do though lol

This drawing was ok to work on, nothing too special, I think it looks alright and just adds to the content heh.
