Okay, I had to make one more. I think we're more or less out of the woods now, though.

Story time! Tell a story about a recurring ex-villain. Sometimes the antagonist of the moment doesn't stay that way later on. They might become allies, or at the very least neutral NPCs. Tell a story about such characters in the comments.

Mayor Mare: The role of the storyteller tonight will be played by…
DM: And from the bright green stage fog, you see a familiar zebra step out…
Mane Six: ZECORA?!
Rainbow Dash: Hold on, WHAT? She’s supposed to be in jail, right? What is this, community service??
DM: It looks like that might be the case.
Twilight Sparkle: Were we… informed about this? Warned in any way?
DM: Nope. It seems like Mayor Mare may have jumped the gun on this one. Still, on the bright side, her presence isn’t causing a huge disruption. Zecora’s mane is let down and she’s in a festival costume, so the majority of the townsfolk might not have made the connection.
Applejack: Oh, I get it. THIS is our new party member! An Unaligned Zebra Artificer, trying to make up for her shady past… or is she? That sounds right up your alley!

Applejack: Naw? Heheh. Okay.
