Smolder (RT): We're the only ones who can stop it, so we're going to have to investigate it ourselves. Let's see if we can learn its inner workings.

But this is a LOT of magic, at a very high rate of flow. It would be all too easy to mess something up and cause a chain reaction that detonates the catacombs and the entire school above.
