Honestly, in regards to this season, I'm just kind of impressed the show managed to make the "next generation campaign" work as well as it did.

I've been a part of one such campaign, long long ago in the days of Pony Tales, which was… alright, and one of my characters appeared in a follow-up campaign in our world run by a different group. He… did not meet a pleasant fate.

DM: The ground within the circle cracks open, and a dark, swirling vortex to another dimension starts to draw the orb downward.
Gallus (RD): Oh. So it was go-time anyway. Good to know.
Sandbar (AJ): Are the students reacting to this at all?
DM: About half of them are booking it. Seems a portal opening up and sucking the air out of the room was the last straw.
Cozy Glow: Wait, where are you going?! Your Empress needs you!! STOOOP!
Gallus (RD): Hahaha!
DM: All that to say: It all comes down to this moment.
Smolder (RT): We just have to figure out which one of us takes which artifact, correct?
Ocellus (TS): It sounds like that's how we avoid blowing up, yeah.
Sandbar (AJ): How are we gonna do that?
DM: Um… Lore lightning round?
