Guest Author's Note: "I'll just be blunt here. This is one of my favorite types of gag in pretty much any media. Explain all of the terrible parts of a plan, agree to it, and then nominate someone else to take the brunt of the damage. It can be just as much fun without the explanation, but you need a lot more wiggle room to show everyone understanding the problems with the plan than this comic format gives me.
I especially love this as a DM, because I frequently get to point out the problems from a pseudo-omniscient perspective, and the players have to take the brunt no matter what. What's the worst that could happen? They go through with it?
…oh."
Transcript:AJ: So, lemme get this straight. You want one of us to run fer the Fall Formal Crown. Against Sunset Shimmer. You want us to run against the bully that has humiliated us at every possible moment. Who has gone out of her way to be petty and vengeful about insignificant slights. You want us to try and convince an entire school, in a very short period of time, ah might add, to vote against that very same Sunset Shimmer. Meanwhile, the ones who ain’t runnin’ need to try and run interference, while also managin’ their own reputation, to avoid draggin’ down our nominee’s reputation by association. Ah love it! Ah nominate Twilight.
