Ok, headcanon time: I imagine the CMC to be movie reviewers (Canterlot Movie Club) who post their reviews on Youtube or something like that.
I wonder if human Diamond Tiara used to humiliate the CMC in their videos or criticize them in class, like her pony version did with their cutie marks.
