I haven't really been feeling like drawing my own characters lately. A lot of the reason probably being that I'm kinda stressing about making my portfolio more diverse and practicing different things.

But I still love drawing ponies no matter how much I try to branch out so I gave myself a little challenge were I only got 30 min to draw a pony and I wasn't allowed to change anything once the time was up. That way I got some warm-up and got to draw ponies.

So I started out drawing Pinkie Pie and midway through my brain asked "what if she was big horse and not small horse?" then it just spiraled from there. Most Pinkie headcanon involves her being one of the shortest of the mane 6 so I wanted to make her the tallest for once (Her family is rock farmers, seems like they could be beefy). After I drew Pinkie I really wanted to draw the rest of her sisters so I just kept going with the 30 min time limit thing.

Marble and Pinkie are twins so they are around the same size. I gave Marble some pink to make her match Pinkie a bit more, and because pink muzzles is the cutest thing ever. Pinkie is largely the same only bigger, and with some slight horse markings.
Limestone is the shortest, though she's around average in height. She's got a big attitude to overcompensate for the fact that she is a dwarf next to her sisters and feels a strong need to assert herself.
Maud is the tallest and the calmest. She's pretty much the definition of gentle giant and moves quite gracefully despite her size. She also has some scars running down her back from barely escaping a cave in.

I haven't decided don't think these body types are canon in my universe but it was a fun thought. I really like big Maud and tiny (in comparrison) Limestone.
