The Vanguard Expedition Squad: the main group of my story Fallout Equestria: Burdens. From left to right they are:

Neon Screw — The nutty Earth Pony Cyborg from The Central Hub who has a knack for technology and a largely unknown past.

Wildcat Cartridge — Specialist from The Company's Dragon's Den Wasteland Division tasked with safeguarding Ward, and a former tribal. A lover of firearms, she maintains weapons on a highly methodical level and does not take kindly to abuse of said weapon.

Trade "Ward" Wind — Corporal from The Grand Pegasus Enclave and pony of interest in the eyes of The Company. He is the central protagonist of the story, the leader of the Vanguard Expeditionary Squad, and is very determined to see his tasks through in a region that he knows very little of.

Valtiel — A seasoned griffon who was once part of The Talons Merc Company. He is now considered an independent merc who found service with The Company for largely unrealized reasons.

Summer Ardor — Kirin Lorekeeper and mate to Fervent Ash. A curious kirin who never stops being a warm individual even in the face of dire situations. Though even her warm personality has limits, she cares deeply for everyone in the group.

Fervent Ash — Kirin Warrior and mate to Summer Ardor. A serious kirin with the heart and mind of a warrior, he is one of the groups most experienced traditional combat fighters. He is very protective of Summer, and even more so after the conquest of their home.

The Squad has their moments of inner struggle, specifically between Ward and Wildcat or Ash. Despite this, however, they come to be more than just ponies and griffons on assignment or kirin servants. The journey is tough, and Ward will need to understand that he can't carry the burden of his journey on his own.
