next up in my future headcanons series is Princess Twilight Sparkle! some of my thoughts about her in my AU:
The more magic she's using, the more her mane and tail glow and shimmer. As she hasn't come into her full power yet, her "default" mane looks fairly normal except for a slight magical aura. She doesn't show the same signs of aging as the rest of the Mane 6.
As the Princess of Friendship, Twilight's primary mission is to serve as an intermediary between Equestria's nations and different groups within them as needed. Although she enlists diplomats to help her and to complete friendship quests, the demands of her job have led to her simply overseeing the schools in Ponyville rather than being directly involved in the proceedings.
She's a night owl, often staying up until the wee hours of the night writing or reading. She still loves learning, researching, and performing experiments.
She's married to Time Turner. They met at a conference on temporal physics, where Time Turner was presenting a theory on the nonlinear nature of time. They got to arguing over some of his equations and got kicked out of the conference, so they had to go to a coffee shop to keep arguing. Then they agreed to meet for dinner to argue some more. At some point, they stopped arguing and just started talking to each other, and eventually fell in love. Together, they have one daughter, Page Turner.
She's bisexual.

i have some ideas about what I want to do with the School of Friendship/how I want to rework that concept a bit, but I'll save that for a later post. Will also update with a link to Page Turner's bio once she gets one because I'm still working out her design.
