so before i get into this, i should probably go over something again, in terms of equestrian proposal practices. ive talked about it in depth here (old art) —

but, to briefly summarise, pegasi method of proposal involves offering their significant other a feather (since preening and the upkeep of their wings is a very personal/intimate thing). if their significant other accepts, they offer one of their own, holding onto it until the day of their wedding 0 where they finally exchange it.

OKAY SO I THOUGHT ABOUT TWIDASH ANd i couldnt decide who would propose first bc so i said both.

1.) twilight very rigorously plans and preps for exactly how she's going to do it. she sets spike down in front of her blackboard, and details to him how she's planned a trip, how there's just the perfect spot to do it, what she'll say, what she'll do.
spike has seen like a million variations of this twi freak out and he's totally over it. as if theres any chance rainbow will say no anyway

2.) rainbow on the other is just chillin when she's like 'ok fuck this feather dropped off lol' — and well idk they live together now and they seem to have their futures together pretty securely and its like idk i guess ill propose aha ha h a.

3.) So here they both are, in the romantic evening glow. Twilight is giving Rainbow a dramatic, heartfelt speech, but she's not really listening — she's fidgeting, sweating a bit (gross) waiting for the right moment to pop the question. When Twilight seems to take a pause from whatever it was she was saying, Rainbow whips around, grabs her feather, and turns to face her in an instant.

"Twi, will you ma"

"Rainbow Dash, will you m-"

Twilight snorts, dropping the feather from her mouth. Rainbow chuckles, letting out a breath she hadnt realised she was holding.

"So… it's a yes?" Twilight giggled. Rainbow rolled her eyes.

"You egghead."

4.) lil after piece that i thought id add on,mostly wanted to practice wings. think ima upload this seperately as well. these fuckin DORKS AH who let them AH who let them DO THIS TO ME.
