Here's where guesswork on colorscheme comes into play. The outfit initially screams "white" but with that HUGE collar, it then basically becomes a "Saturday Night Fever" outfit, and disco certainly doesn't fit Rarity.
The gala red color that's common to this dress and others seems to work well, particularly against the blue of her cutie mark and the indigos of the hair, so I'm assuming that.
