I just assumed this is what becoming an alicorn is like in a D&D setting.

So

A certain phrase was rattling around in my head, used to describe alicorns in Buck Legacy. Strangely, it fit my zebra wizard char in a game of Ponyfinder I'm in, whose powers are less natural abd more learned.

To that end, she shares a lot of similarities between the character Elminster, if skewed due to some caveats. Thief/scoundrel turned wizard, but is so eager to learn she forgets herself and often gets into trouble over her magical antics. She's also become a chosen the setting's Knowledge based deity, but that's really in name only. To that end, this is the phrase this pic is based on.

As said. Eager to learn, very capable. Hardly in control of the how or the when.
