I like FiM’s misfit royal siblings! I also prefer his color scheme, and kinda wish they’d gone with darker tones on all of the reformed changelings…

Since I recorded my work on the previous silhouette, I had intended to do that again. But it didn’t happen on this one, because I started working on it in a trial version of Affinity Designer rather than Adobe Illustrator (and didn’t want to record myself being so clueless in an unfamiliar interface, ha). I like Illustrator, but I hate supporting Adobe’s subscription pricing model, so I was exploring alternatives. Affinity has a one-time price of $50 (wait for sale and you can get it half off), and it is very capable! My trial ran out, so I finished this one in Illustrator, but I bought the full version later on — so I’ll likely be using it again.
