Realised this between the two when I watched the show, they’re pretty similar and I wonder if it was intentional in some way.

Also for those that headcanon Twilight not wanting a big responsibility of being an immortal alicorn and a leader, being miserable when raising a baby dragon as she was herself a child and also believe that the mane 6 are now the new mane(?). I headcanon that Misty is Twilight’s chance at living a somewhat normal life after Opaline.

What I personally think when it comes to comparison between the gen’s.
Sunny — Applejack
Hitch — Fluttershy
Zipp — Rainbow
Izzy — Pinkie
Pipp — Rarity
Misty — Twilight
