Season 6, Episode 17: Dungeons and Discords

Oh gosh, why did I decide to make so many characters. I spend more time than I hoped for because of that, and since I still treated it as the usual Single Session Saturday Stream artworks. But not the most pleasant experience, or well, a bit stressful.
This episode, though. Hahaha, so fun they covered DnD, besides the many other references they made to other stuff like Space Jam, Poker dogs, etc. It may not have had that much focus on a deep story, but it was a fun playful one. With some great smaller details as well! Parnship hand actually shown?! Perfect stuff. And it was fun to see the Mane 6's reaction at the end. Although I did not entirely expect Twilight's, heh. Maybe she's hiding something?! But she'd love all the books, no?
Anyhow, it was also just so ripe for art. Since I make fantasy characters already, and this just… I had to make these haha. And apparently I couldn't resist throwing in Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash as well. No Squizard, though… with his awesome nun-chuck wielding skeleton ponies :XD:
My mind just went in auto pilot I think, and I just kept on going with the art, and eventually did end up with a finished piece. Although I had to make a lot of concious choices to lower the complexity and finish. There's a lot of sketchlines still visible, roughness, improper shading, etc. But, as usual, it's then banking on the stuff that is done good enough to carry all that over the line where it's enjoyable to see.
Anyhow, I hope everyone enjoyed the episode and this little fan art! I know I did hehe.
