Yesterday I heard Rarity saying that I wasn't in style anymore. I didn't really understand what she meant, but I know it didn't matter. My owner has loved me since the day she bought me. Still, I decided I was going to give it my all and be as in style as I could from now on.
Except today, when my owner got me from her closet, she didn't put me on. Instead she carried me all the way to that one store we never shop in, the "thrift" store. She took me inside and put me on the counter, saying I wasn't in style anymore but was in good condition and would make somepony happy. I didn't understand what was going on; all I knew is I don't want to make somepony happy. I just want to make Rarity happy.
For all of last year we've done all her shopping together. She was always so happy to pick me up and put me on, to cinch my straps just right, to fill me with whatever odds and ends she needs for the day. She was happy, and so I was happy.
Except today, she didn't take me with her as she left this store. This isn't right. She brings me in, the pony puts things in me, and we leave. Today she came in and left, and the pony took me. He took me and put a little sticker on me, and put me on the shelf with a few other saddlebags.
They laughed when I asked when Rarity would be back. They said I had been donated to charity. They said another pony might buy me, and hopefully be happy with me. They said that was the best I could hope for. I don't want to make another pony happy. I just want to make Rarity happy.
Rarity… please come back… I miss you…
Please…
