So I've toyed around with Big Mac's "Orchard Blossom" persona before and what it could possibly mean for his character.

I know lots of y'all like to dismiss Orchard Blossom as a somewhat mean-spirited one-off gag, but well, I figure it's something worth exploring beyond "haha, look at the man in a dress, so funnie". Mac just seemed really comfortable in a dress, y'know? He was clearly having a blast bonding with his little sister, and went deep, deep into character as Orchard Blossom. And of course, there's another episode where he dreams of himself as an alicorn princess. It's sweet.

Big Mac moonlights as a drag queen, the lovely (and beautifully beefy) Orchard Blossom. Orchard is a singer, reflecting Mac's love of singing in the PonyTones, and she's very popular at the club she performs at. Orchard is chatty, bubbly, excitable, sweet, and even a bit flirty, just a big barrel of fun and femininity….and Mac's much-beloved avenue of self-expression.
