Meet Zyra and Paige Splash

Paige Splash is the adopted mother of the young filly Kickflip.

Zyra is a zebra/pony hybrid. She felt alienated and thought that she didn't fit in very well with most groups due to her appearance and her being an orphan. However, some kind ponies at a local skatepark stood up to her when she was being bullied, and they soon became friends, eventually resulting in Zyra taking up an interest in skating
She keeps injuring herself and isn't very good at it, but she is a tough cookie who isn't going to let it keep her down!

Paige Splash is a very geeky mare, who is the owner of a comic book store. She has a wide collection of comics and other geeky memorabilia, and is very well kept up in a lotof nerdy facts and trivia.
She is a friendly mare, but can get very heated when certain nerd topics come up XD
Also, don't even try and get he to try out exercising, she'd be out of air in about 5 minutes XD

Paige is also the girlfriend of the guard pony mare, Emerald Spear
She loves a mare in uniform
(She loves her even more when the uniform is at the foot of their bed hehe)
Since Emerald is on guard duty most of the time, Paige is the one who spends the most time looking after Zyra.
