Welcome to the Miracleverse! AKA, the Disliked Ships AU, but I don't use this as a platform for hate. While the universe is slightly… twisted, they are all options that could have happened in the main TFIMverse. They're a chance to do things with the… standard ships that people have, and using them in new ways, as well as a platform for interesting characters. I want to do some different things with the designs, so I may note the standard designs I tried to avoid with each design. These designs have been done for… an embarrassing amount of time, so expect a lot of the designs at once, I finally decided to upload them. These two came along with Dusty Dunes, so they both were drawn September 08, 2016.
I don't have design notes for them for 'standard designs', because luckily these ships aren't too popular, but I do have design notes anyway; Turquoise Tempo was decided to ironically be a candymaker, and his wings come from Skyra/Harpica Heartstrings and his design is heavily inspired by my headcanon for Lyra's father, Emerald Elegy. Hazelnut Hushup is equally designed as a musician, while her eyes come from Bon Bon's sister Lily, and her general design is after chocolate and PB&J.
Turquoise Tempo is the son of Lyra Heartstrings and Noteworthy Blues, while Hazelnut Hushup is the daughter of Bon Bon and Caramel. The two are mortal enemies, who are also, by virtue of Lyra and Bon Bon's long and well known relationship, half siblings to their older sister, Tootsie Flute, and related by their mothers.
Turquoise Tempo is a candy maker with a sassy streak a mile wide.. well, some say sassy, some say 'whiny bitch'. Really, it's a matter of what you want to call 'being a difficult ass who makes sarcastic jokes about everything anyone else does while providing absolutely nothing of his own to make his criticisms valid'… yeah, whiny bitch it is. He's really just a rather unpleasant character, but luckily, he spends most of his time hanging about Hazelnut, criticizing her every action and constantly bickering with her. He adores his big half sister Tootsie Flute, and has no problem telling Hazelnut that Tootsie Flute likes him best, not her, and that she doesn't consider Hazelnut her real sibling, just him. Honestly, he's about as emotionally mature as a 6 year old fighting over a toy, except the toy is their big sister.
Hazelnut, on the other hoof, is a musician with a horrible, nasty tendency to make up rumors and constantly judge others, finding out other ponies secrets, constantly outing others for her own interests… practically the only one who she has no dirt on is Turquoise, which infuriates her to no end. She sells out for secrets, constantly, but what she wants most is the dirt on Turquoise; she wants him to know she knows something about him that could ruin him, but he seems to know she's bluffing. This doesn't mean she doesn't fight with him anyway. She knows her big sister Tootsie Flute just needs to know that Turquoise is a terrible pony and then Hazelnut will be her favorite little sibling, and she'll hate him. Honestly, she's also emotionally immature, she's just more on the level of a petty middle schooler… neither of them are particularly great ponies.
Tootsie Flute.. loves her little half siblings dearly… She really does, but.. By Celestia, she is going to die soon just because of these two, they're just trying too hard ,telling on each other since they were old enough to talk, it's just unbearable.

*Note; this happened last week, not when they were like, 6 or something. They just devolve into whining if they're placed in a room together with Tootsie Flute.
The story of Lyra and Bon Bon's breakup comes with how the events of 'Slice of Life' ended for the two of them; while normally, in every other universe, they settled their differences and continued in their relationship without secrets, and for reasons, in the Miracleverse, they had a rocky time after a while, Lyra unable to deal with having been lied to by her wife, and Bon Bon infuriated that Lyra couldn't understand that it was a matter of national security. They split up, with joint custody of their daughter, Tootsie Flute, and both (rather quickly) remarried.
Lyra and Noteworthy are almost strictly a work couple… the two don't talk much, almost as if one of them rushed into the marriage as quickly as possible to spite another, to prove she was over her earlier.
Similarly, Bon Bon and Caramel are a precarious couple, once again, it seems as though Bon Bon forced herself into a relationship with Caramel, who admittedly accepted, simply because she needed to be over Lyra. Caramel doesn't know that she's a secret agent, but Hazelnut does, as Hazelnut was occasionally babysat by Bon Bon while on missions.
