If you read my journal post at My-Little-Fusions, then you would know why I made this. For those of you who don't know why, I made this because I feel that Sunset Shimmer could be considered a fusion. The full explanation is in the link below.

Anyway I introduce to you, two fan-made characters: Morning Star and Evening Burst. Morning Star is the shy, compassionate, caring, selfless, and forgiving side of Sunset. While Evening Burst is the confident, sassy, sarcastic, once narcissistic, and bad-ass side of Sunset.

Their fusion in Equestria Girls #1 was very unstable with Evening being in full control while restraining Morning from having any control. Things got too far when Sunset got a hold of Twilight's crown. When the magic unleashed, Evening realized just how wrong their fusion was. So she tried to free Morning to make things right and for their fusion to be stable again, but it was too late. For she had also turned into a demon while Morning was chained up and forced to watch her friend turn herself and their fusion into a monster. Luckily with the Magic of Friendship, Sunset and Evening were released from their demon, and both now feeling sorry for their actions. Morning being the forgiving person she is, forgave her and tried to comfort her as best as she could (despite what Evening did to her).

When the Battle of the Bands took place at Canterlot High, Evening refused to take any control of Sunset Shimmer, leaving Morning in full control of her actions. She feared she would turn herself and Sunset into a monster again. Morning tried to convince Evening that she can use her personality for good, but she refused to listen. That is until when Twilight and her friends were unable to defeat the Dazzlings. Then she realized that Morning and their friends needed her, they needed both of them. That's when Evening stepped up and used her confidence to save the song and their friends.

In the Friendship Games, Evening understood just how important she and Morning are to Sunset. They felt the love Sunset's friends had for her and they needed to work together to make their friendship stay. Now making Sunset a perfectly balanced fusion.
