My first post! To whoever is reading this, welcome to the Sunverse! As people tend to do, I decided to upload Twi's family first. Y'know, protagonist and all that stuff… On these family deviations, I will be giving some of my personal thoughts on the pairing, and a little backstory of how the two got together! I will upload all the kids seperately before posting the next family, with little bio's in the description so you can learn more about the characters from the Sunverse!
One more thing: The bases used for the canon characters in these are NOT canon to what they actually look like in the Sunverse. Everyone is aged up, like at the end of the show itself. I was just too lazy to edit them all-
My thoughts: I've really liked Twixie ever since Boast Busters came out. What can I say, rivals to lovers is a trope I am a big sucker for. Additionally, most people have Twilight and Flash Sentry in their Next Gens nowadays, which one, I don't like and two, is kind of overdone by this point. In my old Next Gen, I had Twilight paired with Thunderlane for some god forsaken reason, even though they don't even interact- Then I remembered how much I loved Twixie and well, the rest is history!
Backstory: Twilight and Trixie had been rivals for… a very long time. Honestly, if it wasn't for the ultimate wingmare Starlight Glimmer, the two would've probably never connected the way they did. Trixie was a pony who masked her insecurities by acting like she was better than the rest, and Twilight was… rather dense and just thought she was trying to pick a fight for the sake of it. Trixie had always looked up to Twilight, I mean, which unicorn wouldn't? She was Princess Celestia's star student, a unicorn with not only incredible potential, but also a great group of friends. Trixie's insecurities often caused her to push ponies away instead of letting them in, so she was quite the lone wolf. Once Starlight joined the picture, Trixie felt like she finally had someone she could relate and talk to. Sure, they had their differences, but they had a lot in common aswell. In particular: Their feeling of inferiority toward Twilight. Once Twilight took Starlight as her student, Trixie had had enough and finally told Twilight about all of her feelings. Twilight promised she'd do her best to take notice of Trixie's feelings more, and even offered her a job at the School of Friendship. The two of them grew a lot closer in the next years, now working in the same building. Most of their "fateful" meetings were orchestrated by Starlight, though.
