AJ was my first love of the show, so I decided to sketch her as a sendoff for the finale.Before discovering Friendship is Magic through my partner in early 2017, I was already experienced in some art forms such as traditional painting, drawing, sculpting, and even taxidermy. However, I hadn’t done much work in a while as I didn’t have anything in particular I was passionate about (and stress in real life didn’t help). But when I was introduced the show, it reignited my childhood love for ponies and horses, both of the MLP variety as well as traditional, such as Breyer collectibles. It wasn’t long before I started drawing some original and canon characters, and the rest is history!I can’t thank the show creators enough for the love and effort they poured into Friendship is Magic to make it the special world it is, and for being the source of passion for creating artwork that it has been for me for nearly three years now. Because of the show, the fans, and the content which its fans have created, I have both rediscovered loves of old which I can now create artwork for, as well as new loves which I may have never discovered otherwise.It’s been a wonderful ride, but I’m not going anywhere. I’m very much looking forward to seeing how G5 pans out, and will continue creating & embracing pone!
