I didn't know if I wanted to have any more kids for Cadence and Shining Armor besides Flurry, so I made three. And it's time for you to meet one of them!

Boreal Dusk, the second child and only son of Queen Cadence and King Consort Shining Armor, takes after his mother in more ways than one, including his eternally flawless look and playful attitude. It seems that he has no violent bone in his body and he's all about love, at least until he goes to work. Dusk is forever training under his father while Persephone (Flurry Heart) learns of ruling from their mother, where he's taught about treaties, trade routes, and any other diplomatic affairs. His title in court is Prince Ambassador and as such, it's common for him to travel out of the Crystal Empire to other areas of Equestria as he studies his trade. He takes his job very seriously and is very passionate when working, occasionally making rash decisions when it comes to diplomacy. There are rumors that some believe that Boreal Dusk should be the heir to the Crystal throne instead of Crown Princess Persephone, but it seems that is the one thing he isn't opinionated about. After all, he is being trained to be her right hand (or successor if anything should happen to her), so he sees no reason to vie for her throne when he's perfectly happy having more freedom as an ambassador to the Empire. When he's not working, he's sure to shamelessly flirt and spend time with anyone in court that catches his eye, whether that be in The Crystal Empire, Canterlot, the Changeling Kingdom, Yakyakistan, or Griffonstone.
