"Oh. Hello Speckledust." said an unenthusiastic Sunfyre as a young blue & pink female Changeling approached him from behind. Her name was Speckledust, a new (and yet not-so-new) Changeling who recently came to Hoofington to enroll into the newly constructed Hoofington Friendship School, and one creature other than Calienta (and Gareth to a lesser extent) that Sunfyre doesn't wish to see.

"Hello again Sunfyre. Fancy meeting you here.", said the cheerful Changeling. Sunfyre just gave her an annoyed look. The happy Changeling just said, "Now why are you looking so gloomy? It's not like you to be so angry." Sunfyre, using one of his wings to form a finger of sorts, points to the collar around his neck.

"Oh, that. Well you do recall you did lose our bet so you have to wear it. I'm sure Asia Evergreen was clear on the details no?"

"She was, but you didn't mention how long I have to wear it.", scoffed the red Pegasus.

"Ah. Oh, well the details about that aren't important. Besides, it looks good on you.", Speckledust said with a laugh that made Sunfyre more annoyed. He sighs and says, "I am a Pony of my word so I will wear it until the next hoofball contest. Anyway, why are you here?"

"Why am I here? You be happy to know that Carapace & her brother Ventral has invited me to her Changeling hive in the Hoofington Outskirts. So when the Hoofington Friendship School opens, you'll be seeing me a lot…more or less."

Unimpressed by what she just said, the unenthusiastic Sunfyre says, "Uh-huh…"

"What?", Speckledust said looking a bit confused.

"I know you Specs. And while learning about friendship is an important step that Princess Twilight has strived to do as the Princess of Freinship to spread it around, you're here to do more than learn about frienship."

She gives him a sultry-looking look. "Oh? And what do you think I'm here for more than?"

"To help yourself to some love."

Speckledust chuckles. "You're serious? Sunny, you do realize most Changelings have learn to share love, so we don't necessarily need to feed off of other creatures so forcefully nowadays. While I do admit there may be a few out there who don't accept this, its-."

Sunfyre cuts her off. "I'm not talking about them. I'm talking about you."

"Moi? Oh come now. What makes you think I will so such a thing?"

"You have in the past said that figuratively and gone on to do so. Intentionally. While also showcasing those fangs of yours…and licking your chops. At me mainly…which is unnerving to say the least."

"Well to be fair, your love was scrumptous. Besides Sunny, can't a girl admire her lunch…I mean, admire her friend up close and personal?"

With an arching eyebrow Sunfyre says, "Did you just call me lunch?"

The cheerful & hungry-looking Changeling just looks at him and says, "………maybe."

For the past few weeks I had thought about making a new Changeling O/FC, one who is like my old O/FC Cookie Swirl but also not. I had made Phylia but couldn't come up with how to go about with her, so I decided to create Speckledust. There isn't much I can say about her now, but Speckledust will be sort of the Changeling equivilent of Cookie Swirl and like Cookie (& Calienta to certain degrees) shares a strong desire towards Sunfyre. Specs is also (in my Valourverse anyway) the one responsible for Sunfyre to wear the collar around his neck. I'll go into details on that later.

I would have loaded this much sooner but I was having issues deciding Speckledust's colors. I drew inspiration from Valour Flame & Calienta's colors and finally picked out Speckledust's color palette. It took some trial-and-error, but I'm happy how she turned out.
