MLP S09E22 [Growing Up Is Hard To Do]

Sure, let's paint.

Oh gosh, I get to paint a darker brown pony once again? They're pretty rare. An interesting challenge, tho. It's something that's definitely very different, painting darker tones, and it does throw me off. So I struggled a bit trying to figure out how to balance the show's color use vs more realistic. I'm not sure I properly achieve either. It's an awkward balance with what I intended to go for. (older classical painting style not helping)

But it was a good opportunity to touch on it a bit. Treading outside the comfort zones can help in different ways. I now at least
know where I stand on this type of stuff lol. There were a lot of different things going through my mind painting this, tho. Darn.

Anyhow, it was an interesting episode, yes yes interesting interesting.

One way to have the crusaders grow up hah. Some darn powerful magical flower. It's always a fun curiosity to how
much and what type of magic there is out there. With the danger of things going too far and too powerful of course.

And otherwise I can accept just brute power from nature in the form of plants or creatures.
